Narcasung de270a0e8e fix(tracker): drop quests the player no longer has
Ascension's special quests are finished by the server the moment their
objectives are met, and one of them stayed in the tracker for the rest of
the session: currentQuestlog is only as good as the removal events that
maintain it, and nothing landed for that quest.

The tracker now checks the quest log itself, which it already walks once
per draw for the zone headers, and skips anything that is no longer in
it, dropping the fallback object built for it as well. Skipped rather
than pruned, so a redraw that catches the log mid-refresh does not throw
away state Questie is about to want back.

Three things on the event side that let it get that far:

- CleanupRemovedQuestsFallback now also runs after a full quest log scan.
UpdateAllQuests only inspects quests still in the log, so for as long
as something kept asking for full scans, nothing looked for removals.
- A removed quest counts as completed when the server has it flagged
complete. QuestieDB.IsComplete cannot answer for a quest the database
has never heard of, so these were filed as abandoned instead.
- The removal scan type-checks the quest id before comparing it, so a
stray string key cannot error out the pass for every other quest.

Narcasung 8089b5f08c fix(tracker): show (Complete) and correct level for DB-less custom quests
Quests with no static DB entry (e.g. Ascension custom quest 175206) made
GetColoredQuestName bail out early on a nil name lookup, before it ever
reached the (Complete)/(Failed) suffix logic. The tracker's existing
fallback for that case never added the suffix either, and it computed
level via QuestieLib.GetTbcLevel (static-DB-only), which silently defaults
to level 1 and then gets scaled from that wrong base by Ascension's level
scaling. Since these quests also auto-collapse once complete (hiding the
tracker's other "Quest Complete!" indicator line), the title was the only
place that could show completion status, and it was silently swallowing it.

- QuestieTracker.lua: the "no DB name" fallback branch now appends
(Complete) under the same collapseCompletedQuests/isMinimizable rule as
the normal path, and uses the live quest object's own level instead of
  the static-only lookup.
- QuestieQuest.lua (PopulateQuestLogInfo): re-syncs quest.level from a live
GetQuestLogTitle scan every update, since QuestieDB.GetQuest caches quest
objects permanently and QuestLogCache never tracked level at all.
- TrackerUtils.lua (GetCompletionText): guards the Description[1] fallback
against quests that have no top-level Description array, which was
throwing and aborting that quest's tracker render entirely.

Narcasung c09d30b832 Apply local fixes on top of upstream: tracker desync/drag/title, map icon zoom offset
- Compat/HBD.lua: fix world map pin offset math to account for zoom addons
  (e.g. Magnify) rescaling an ancestor frame instead of WorldMapButton itself;
cull pins that fall outside the scroll frame's viewport when zoomed
- Compat/Compat.lua: add a short TTL to the chat-parsed objective progress
cache so a stale entry can't be reapplied to an unrelated quest
- Modules/QuestieLearner.lua: re-point QuestiePlayer.currentQuestlog at the
rebuilt quest table after invalidating QuestieDB's quest cache, fixing
Tracker freezing on stale objective progress
- Modules/Tracker/QuestieTracker.lua: fall back to a formatted quest name
when QuestieDB has no title for a quest (e.g. custom server quests)
- Modules/Tracker/TrackerBaseFrame.lua: force baseFrame movability on drag
start instead of trusting the async-refreshed IsMovable() state
- Modules/Tracker/TrackerHeaderFrame.lua: wire up drag on the tracker icon
- Modules/Quest/QuestEventHandler.lua: force a full quest log reconciliation
when the native quest log is opened

Squashed from prior commit-by-commit history to rebuild this working copy
on a clean fork of aron-w/Questie-X (restores the native GitHub fork link).
Per-fix rationale is preserved in project memory
(project_tracker_fixes.md, project_map_icon_offset.md).

Xurkon 568cd44af8 fix: port Phase 1 perf/correctness audit fixes onto main
Brings the still-needed changes from questie-phase1perf that main lacked.
Main already had the Lua 5.0 shims (QuestieLoader bit/strsplit, QuestieStream
and QuestieSerializer math.mod sweep), so those are omitted.

- QuestieNameplate: skip missing entries instead of return-aborting the whole
activeGUIDs loop (one bad unit no longer stalls every nameplate update)
- QuestieQuest.ClearAllNotes: skip DB-missing quests instead of aborting, so
remaining quests' notes still get cleared
- QuestieOptionsTracker: fix fadeTickerValue:Cancel -> fadeTicker:Cancel (3x);
fadeTickerValue is a number, the ticker handle is fadeTicker
- QuestieCommsData: nil-guard GetNPC/GetObject before reading .name
- QuestieAnnounce: bound the alreadySentBandaid dedup cache (reset at 1000)
- QuestieDB.IsComplete: hoist GetQuest into expectedQuest (one call, not two)
- QuestieFramePool/QuestieFrame: drop the dead BaseOnUpdate ticker branch

Xurkon 152e823c04 fix(quest): skip stale frames in Show/HideQuestIcons instead of crashing
ShowQuestIcons/HideQuestIcons indexed icon (=_G[frameName]) when it can
be nil for a registry entry whose frame was already reset, crashing the
fade pass (attempt to index local 'icon'). Guard icon/icon.data/
icon.data.QuestData and skip stale frames; ShowQuestIcons no longer
error()s on the desync.

Xurkon 6355545890 fix(learner): show every learned pin on Sunstrider, not a clustered dot
A prior change (dd630fd) kept clustering enabled on Sunstrider Isle in
learner mode to avoid pin fan-out, but that collapsed several distinct
learned coordinates (e.g. 7 Arcane Wraith spots) into a single pin --
breaking the DB-building workflow where every learned spawn must be
visible. The SavedVariables data was correct the whole time; this was a
display regression. Sunstrider (1241) now shows every distinct pin by
default in all data-source modes; consolidation only happens when the
player explicitly raises the Dense Pin Clustering Aggressiveness knob.

Xurkon 6ad4308940 fix(map): robustly hide Callboard/Contract Board quests below 60 (#10)
Ascension board bounties (e.g. NPC 24 'Outlaw's Contract Board') aren't
reliably flagged repeatable, so IsRepeatable missed them and their ! kept
showing below 60. Add QuestieDB.IsBoardQuest (detects starter NPC/object
names containing 'board', cached per quest); the hide-below-60 option now
hides repeatable OR board quests in both the draw path and ShouldBeHidden.

Xurkon f9b19218cb fix(quest): snapshot completion at QUEST_REMOVED so turn-ins are not misclassified as abandoned (#9)
Some Ascension turn-ins (crafting/auto-complete) fire QUEST_REMOVED with
no preceding QUEST_TURNED_IN, so the 1s abandon timer runs after
QuestLogCache.RemoveQuest has cleared the quest, making IsComplete return
0 and the turned-in quest get marked abandoned -- its objective pins and
turn-in ? then linger. Capture IsComplete at QUEST_REMOVED time and use
that snapshot in MarkQuestAsAbandoned.

Xurkon dfdad2cbc3 fix(quest/learner): draw turn-in '?' for in-log quests; learn turn-in NPC
Reverts the previous approach of stripping char.complete (which mutated
completed-quest data). Correct rule: a quest in the player's log is active
and should show its turn-in location regardless of the completed flag.

- AddFinisher now trusts the live quest log: if the quest is in
currentQuestlog and not failed, the '?' finisher draws regardless of the
(possibly stale, e.g. prior-prestige) char.complete flag. No completion
data is modified. Reverts the AcceptQuest and QUEST_QUERY_COMPLETE strips.

- Learner: OnTargetChanged now learns quest-giver/turn-in NPC spawns
(it previously only cached the GUID), so targeting a turn-in NPC records
its location. OnQuestComplete/OnQuestTurnedIn fall back to the 'target'
unit when the 'npc' gossip unit is already cleared, so the finisher NPC
  is reliably learned on turn-in.

selene 0 errors; busted 145 successes / same 7 pre-existing failures.

Xurkon f9ff77c088 fix(quest): clear stale char.complete for re-accepted (prestige) quests
A quest completed in a prior Ascension prestige stays in char.complete.
On re-accept it is active in the log again, but the stale completion flag
was never cleared — and AddFinisher only draws the turn-in '?' when
not char.complete[questId]. So the finisher was suppressed and the quest
showed '(Complete)' with stale objective text while standing at the
turn-in NPC (e.g. Aggression 8334 at Lanthan Perilon 15281).

An active in-log quest is now kept out of char.complete:
- QuestieQuest:AcceptQuest clears char.complete[questId] on accept.
- The async QUEST_QUERY_COMPLETE handler also strips any quest currently
in QuestiePlayer.currentQuestlog, so the server's completed list can't
  re-flag a re-accepted quest.

Restores the turn-in '?' and normal objective tracking. selene 0 errors;
busted 145 successes / same 7 pre-existing failures.

Xurkon ab560d5711 fix(map): completed/accepted/repeatable available-quest pins (#7 #9 #10)
#7: Completed quests kept showing as available '!'. The server completed-
quest list arrives async via QUEST_QUERY_COMPLETE, often after available
quests were first drawn. Recalculate available quests once char.complete is
populated by that event so completed quests are removed (also clears the
already-completed subset of #8).

#9: An accepted quest's available '!' could linger on the minimap until
/reload. UnloadQuestFramesByDataType unloaded the frame but left its name in
questIdFrames and _G; it now removes those references so the icon is torn
down immediately on both map and minimap.

#10: Added 'Hide repeatable quests below level 60' (Icons tab, off by
default) to hide repeatable available quests (e.g. the Ascension Callboard)
from map/minimap until level 60. Enforced in _DrawQuestIfAvailable and
ShouldBeHidden so existing minimap pins are removed too; reappear at 60.

Lint: selene 0 errors. Tests: 145 successes / same 7 pre-existing failures.

Xurkon 0c4631be6e feat(tooltip): accurate per-pin data source attribution
Re-adds the 'Show data source' tooltip option (General tab, default off),
but accurate this time. The previous version was removed because it
guessed the source from the global data-source mode (showing Learner when
data was AscensionDB, etc.). This tags each pin with its real provenance
at creation and reads that tag.

- QuestieDB.GetPinDataSource(entityType, id, spawnData): resolves
Learner (per-spawn isLearned or learner record), AscensionDB (curated
ascensionOverrideKeys override), or base Questie DB. Never guesses.
- Objective pins tagged per-spawn in _DetermineIconsToDraw; available/
finisher pins defaulted by quest in DrawWorldIcon; manual notes tagged
  Townsfolk in DrawManualIcon.
- World-map pins read the per-pin tag (MapIconTooltip); unit/object/item
hovers derive per-id at the render layer (TooltipHandler via
  QuestieTooltips:GetDataSourceLine). Comms appended via KeyExists.
- No line shown when source is genuinely unknown (never misleading).

Xurkon 9d5d4a947e feat(map): remove looted object node pins on loot
When a quest object node is opened/looted, that specific node's
map/minimap pin now disappears immediately even before the objective is
fully collected, instead of all node pins staying until turn-in.

On LOOT_OPENED, QuestieQuest:RemoveLootedObjectivePins finds the active
object-objective spawn nearest the player's world position (<=12 yd),
marks it consumed in Questie.db.char.lootedObjectSpawns, and repopulates
just that objective so clustering recomputes with the node skipped.
_DetermineIconsToDraw skips consumed object spawns, so removal persists
across redraws and /reload. ClearLootedSpawns runs on AcceptQuest, so
abandoning and re-doing the quest (including after an Ascension prestige)
shows every node again.

Works in every data source mode (auto/learner/static/none): suppression
is centralized in the shared _DetermineIconsToDraw that all redraw routes
funnel through, operating on the mode-resolved objective.spawnList.
Matching is radius-based (1.5 zone units) so a learner spawn re-added at
the player's position for the just-looted node is suppressed too.
Scoped to object-type objectives; monster/kill pins are unchanged.

Xurkon 8137d90ff6 fix(map): unload completed-objective pins deterministically
Completed objectives could leave their map/minimap pins on screen until
turn-in. Pin removal relied solely on _UnloadAlreadySpawnedIcons, which
walks objective.AlreadySpawned; that table desyncs from the live frames
after learner spawn-list invalidation or complete->abandon->reaccept
cycles, so when reset to {} the frames leaked.

Add QuestieMap:UnloadQuestFramesForObjective(questId, objectiveIndex)
which unloads frames off the map's own questIdFrames registry by matching
frame.data.ObjectiveIndex, and call it from every completion path in
PopulateObjective. Restricted to positive standard-objective indices;
SpecialObjectives (sentinel index 0) keep using AlreadySpawned.

- SmoothReset now accepts { skipCacheTest = true } to short-circuit the game cache wait and draw-queue drain

- QuestieOptionsAdvanced wires the spawn-pin-dedup-radius slider directly to ClusterRedraw instead of the delayed SmoothReset path

Xurkon 31ddb9a536 fix(quest): require multi-position learned spawns before overriding AscensionDB
- Add local _CountUniqueSpawnPositions helper (counts unique {x, y}
across all zone buckets in a spawn table).
- Gate the prioritizeMyData check on ld.settings.enabled, matching the
Database/QuestieDB.lua fix — when the learner is fully disabled,
the override lookup is skipped entirely.
- Replace the NPC-15274-specific debug print in the monster() spawn
selector with a universal reliability check: the learner data is
  only used when CountUniqueSpawnPositions(learnedSpawns) > 1.

This is the consumer-side enforcement of the QuestieLearner cleanup
(commit e71e072). Singleton-position spawn entries are typically the
player's current position captured during quest dialog (accept/turn-in)
rather than real kill evidence. By requiring at least 2 unique
positions, we avoid letting that pollution clobber AscensionDB curated
spawn data.

The NPC-15274-specific debug print was removed — the universal check
replaces it, and the diagnostic it provided is now expressed through
the Questie DEBUG_DEVELOP log line (which still emits when the new
condition is met).

Xurkon 515b1b2b33 fix(available): clean up pin and tooltip when quest enters quest log
In _CalculateAvailableQuests, when a quest is found in the quest log
(IsComplete ~= -1), explicitly unload any available-quest pin frame
for that questId, remove its tooltip, and clear the cached entry
before returning.

Previously the early-return left stale state behind: the pin frame
and tooltip would persist until the next sweep, causing a brief window
where the same quest was visible as both 'available' (yellow !) on
the map and 'in log' (yellow ?) in the quest log.

The cleanup order is correct: unload frame, then remove tooltip,
then clear cache. narrow scope (only 'available' data type) — does
not affect other pin categories.

Xurkon c6436c486d fix(quest): guard against malformed waypoint data in _DrawObjectiveWaypoints
Error: attempt to index field '?' (a number value) at line 1932.
waypoints[1] was a bare number instead of a coordinate pair {x,y}.
Added type(waypoints[1]) ~= 'table' guard alongside existing type(waypoints)
check. Also simplified firstWaypoint access since the guard ensures it's a table.

The underlying data issue (flat numbers vs coordinate pairs) is in the DB
and should be tracked separately — this fix prevents the crash only.

Xurkon 164584ca87 fix: Sunstrider pin regression, ghost pins, and learner zone normalization
- Fix: isSunstrider block in _MergeSpawnEvidence now checks IsAscensionProtected
before writing learner data to npcDataOverrides. Without this guard, each Mana
Wyrm kill overwrote AscensionDB's z1241=5 data with learner z3431 coords.

- Fix: Clustering disabled for zone 1241 (Sunstrider Isle) in _DrawObjectiveIcons
so all 5 AscensionDB spawn pins display individually instead of collapsing to 2.

- Fix: Ghost pin loop in AvailableQuests.lua -- 'while frames[i]' was iterating a
string-keyed table with a numeric index (never iterated). Changed to pairs().

- Fix: NormalizeSpawnZoneKey now uses ZoneDB.areaIdToUiMapId for all zones so
learner evidence is stored under map IDs (e.g. 1241) not area IDs (e.g. 3431),
matching AscensionDB's key space. Applied in LearnNPC and _StoreGuidSpawnEvidence.

- Fix: isSunstrider detection in _MergeSpawnEvidence updated from hardcoded
zoneId==3431 check to IsSunstriderNativeZone() since zone IDs are now normalized
to map IDs at storage time.
